Say it with me…bath soaks. This is a great addition to your self-care routine!! You will definitely be seeing these in some new things coming sooooooooon!! I really enjoy taking baths and feeling absolutely pampered during, and after. These do the trick every single time.
To start the mixture on these I grind up oatmeal, which has a great soothing and moisturizing effect on your skin and then mix that in my bowl with epsom salts. When using these soaks, please make sure to stay plenty hydrated.
The ingredients you see on top here are kaolin clay, pink Himalayan salt, lavender, and rose hips. All of these are soothing and beneficial for keeping your skin relaxed and help with blemishes as well.
After mixing those up I follow and end my mixture with calendula flowers ❤ These sunshine-y, happy flowers are a wonderful addition to any skin care routine. As they are anti-inflammatory, an amazing wound healer, and muscle calming. I try to put these in as much relaxation self-care recipes that I come up with.
All you need to do to use these is hang them in your running bath water (on your faucet so the water runs right over this), light some candles, maybe pour a little wine, put on your choice in music, or I usually grab a nice book to read, and get in. Remember to drink a glass of water before, and after to make sure the salts in this don’t dehydrate you. Don’t nobody got time for that.
